Other reviews this week were about the Fratello Arlequin Toro, a Nicaraguan cigar only available in a sampler. And the HR Signature Belicoso, a cigar made by Hirochi Robaina, the grandson of the legend Alejandro.
Cohiba Atmosphere and La Casa del Habano Kuala Lumpur teamed up for a tasting event for the Punch Sir David. That regional edition for Hong Kong was created in remembrance of another cigar legend: Sir David Tang. Scandinavian Tobacco Group is releasing two new cigars in select international markets. Those are the CAO Amazon Basin Orellana and the Macanudo Heritage Nuevo. And Kafie 1901 is working on a Candela addition to the line-up. We explained some of the histories of the Candela wrapper.
More news for Malaysia, Puros Asia will be introducing Crowned Heads soon. It’s the fourth brand that they will introduce after Jas Sum Kral, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, and Antiqua Esteli. Tatuaje is releasing the Mexican Experiment for international markets together with the El Triunfador Favoritos. La Flor Dominicana opened France, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates. The Dominican cigar manufacturer will also release its 25th-anniversary cigars on the international markets. And Epic Cigars will return to The Netherlands after a hiatus of two years.
