The country gets so many exclusive releases such as the Collecion Vintage and the Collecion Sevilla. Both come in vintage-looking jars. The first time there was a Habanos release for the Chinese Zodiac calendar was a Spanish exclusive Cohiba. And now there is a new Spanish exclusive
And just as the Collecion Sevilla, this new Spain exclusive cigar has a connection to Sevilla. The third installment of the Tauromaquia is a tribute to the legendary bullfighter Juan Belmonte. People consider him to be one of the best bullfighters in history and he was from Sevilla. His nickname was El Pasmo de Triana.
The Tauromaquia y Juan Belmonte is a Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchilll in special packaging. The cigars have been aging in the storage of the Spanish Habanos distributor Tabacalera. There are 1000 boxes of 10 cigars available. The boxes have a lacquered wooden lit with an evocative illustration of Juan Belmonte. The numbered boxes have a retail price of €200.
The first Tauromaquia was released in 2019. That was the Tauromaquia y Morante de la Puebla. Just like Belmonte, he is from Sevilla but he is still active as a bullfighter. The cigar was a Montecristo Double Edmundo.
The 2020 edition was a Partagas Serie P No.2. This was the Tauromaquia y Joselito el Gallo. He was the youngest bullfighter to receive the title of matador de toros but in 1920, at the age of 25, he lost a fight. The bull one, claiming the life of Joselito el Gallo.
