Soil to Soul Episode Four. For the last few months, Ministry of Cigars and friends have been hosting a Facebook Live called Soil to Soul. Now, this is purely for fun and we do the Facebook live shows quite irregularly. Keep an eye out on the Ministry of Cigars Facebook page (see the link in our signature) to catch us live next time.
After the show, we upload the video to the Ministry of Cigars YouTube Channel as well. Again, the link to the YouTube Channel can be found under the video. But we have decided to show them on the main website as well.
Singaporean brother of the leaf Simon Tan, an avid fan of Cuban cigars, hosted a private event at Mel’s Place. A group of Singaporean cigar aficionados came together at the beautiful outdoor terrace to smoke three cigars. But the catch was three cigars without the rings. All rings had been replaced by a simple white ring with a letter. Cigar A, Cigar B, and Cigar C. Only after smoking and rating all three cigars it would be revealed which cigars had been smoked.
The cigars were a mix of Cuban, Dominican and Nicaraguan cigars. The Cuban cigars was a Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure 2, the Dominican cigar was a Flores y Rodriguez Wide Churchill. The Jas Sum Kral Toothpick Habano was the cigar from Nicaragua. Ministry of Cigars wrote about the private blind smoke as well.
On camera, Tan and host Philip Phajan talk about the event, cigars and more. The video was shot before the event and during the early stages of the blind tasting.
