Plasencia Cigars are now available in New Zealand. The first shipment from Nicaragua has landed Down Under and the cigars are available through Canteros and other tobacco retailers in the land of the All Blacks. If all goes according to schedule, the cigars will physically arrive from the customs warehouse to the Canteros warehouse today.
Grant Ovenden from Canteros and Rodrigo Medina from Plasencia Cigars created a nice selection of Plasencia cigars for the kiwi cigar enthusiasts. All the Plasencia series are in the line-up, in a selection of sizes. From the Plasencia Reserva Original, the Nesticos, Robusto, Toro, and Cortes made it to New Zealand. And from the Plasencia Reserva 1898, the duo’s selection consists of the Corona, Robusto, and Toro. These two lines are also available to the wholesale and retail partners of Canteros.
The Plasencia Cosecha 146 is a line with tobacco from the 146th crop since the Plasencia family started the business in the late 1800s. The Robusto with the name La Musica and the Toro with the name San Luis are available from today.
When you say Plasencia, you can’t ignore the Alma series. There are three blends in the Alma series, with two more in the planning. These Alma series are a tribute to nature. The Alma Fuerte comes in four sizes to New Zealand. The Nestor IV Toro, Generacion V Salomon, Sixto II Hexagon, and the Robusto I
The Alma del Campo is available in the sizes Tribu and Sendero. These are a Robusto and Toro Gordo. The last line is Plasencia Alma del Fuego, which pays tribute to the volcanic island of Ometepe. The Cadente Robusto, Concepcion Toro, and Flama Panatela are now available down under.
