Phoenicia reveals new Habanos releases. On their website, the distributor for Habanos in the Middle East and most of Continental Africa is revealing what to expect from Habanos in the next 13 months. Habanos did not respond to the news, but considering the source, this list is very reliable.

La Casa del Habano Exclusives

Several La Casa del Habano exclusives are mentioned on the list. Most of them are already confirmed by Habanos, yet not available. On the Phoenicia website, there is a timeline on when to expect the new cigars. There is one release that is on the market in some countries, yet will be available before the end of the year in other markets as well. That is the 6⅜x52 San Cristobal de la Habana 20 Aniversario. The other cigars are all on the roster for 2021.

In the first quarter of 2021, La Casa del Habano stores will receive the Cohiba Novedodos. This cigar is been hyped and hunted for since the moment Habanos announced it. The official release of the 6×56 Toro Extra was in September of 2019, yet they haven’t arrived at retailers yet. According to the timeline of Phoenicia, it should happen before the end of March 2021. The 6×47 Montecristo Hederosos should be arriving in that same time frame. And the 7×56 H Upmann Super Magnum is also coming in the first quarter of 2021.

There are also new accessories with the La Casa del Habano logos. A beautiful ashtray with 4 slots for cigars. And leather cigar cases for two cigars.

The La Casa del Habano franchises get more exclusive in the shape of specialties. Such as the 7¼x50 Ramon Allones Emperadores Extra in a beautiful humidor. That item comes in the second quarter. That also goes for the 6⅓x56 Bolivar Mundiales in a 115 count humidor. And then there is a 6⅔x52 Juan Lopez Seleccion Especial planned for the second quarter. In a beautiful white box with 25 cigars. Another specialty is a 100 count humidor for the San Cristobal de la Habana 1519. These 6⅔x57 cigars are expected In the first quarter as well. The humidor is a piece of art.

There are more specialties upcoming, not exclusive to the La Casa del Habano franchises. In the first quarter of 2021, Habanos enthusiasts can expect the 6½x48 Hoyo de Monterrey Primaversas. This is the Habanos release for the Chinese Zodiac calendar, the year of the ox. It’s the follow up to the Romeo y Julieta Maravillas. Let’s hope it scores better on the Ministry of Cigars scale, as the Maravillas didn’t do well. 

Also not exclusive to La Casa del Habano is the Bolivar Belicoso Finas Reserva cosecha 2016. These classics now come with a little extra age in a black piano lacquer box. The cigars should be arriving in the first quarter of the new year. Plus the new accessories with Cuban marcas are available to Habanos Specialist too. There are two new Cohiba cutters and lighters. And new cutters and lighters for Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, H. Upmann, and Partagas. The accessories are a collaboration with Xikar.

2021 releases

The document also mentions releases for 2021, but the timeline already places them in 2022. That goes for the Partagas Expertos, La Gloria Cubana Glorias, Cohiba Ideales, and the Montecristo Almirantes.
