Omar de Frias at the Dutch big Smoke. A few days ago, ministry of Cigars announced the first guest, Jonathan Drew, its time for the second guest. And that’s Fratello owner Omar de Frias.

Fratello & the big smoke

Last year, De Frias made his debut at the Big Smoke and now he’s returning. And he will introduce the Fratello Oro to the Dutch markets. The cigar, which translates to gold, is made at La Aurora on the Dominican Republic.

The blend of the cigar consists of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The binder is Cameroon. The wrapper is Connecticut from Ecuador. Which size will be introduced has yet to be determined. It could be any of the five sizes available. Those are a 5½x47 Corona with the nickname The predilect son. The 5×50 Robusto is named Of course we did. Then there is a 6¼x54 Toro called Omar’s favorite. The 6×60 Gordo listens to the name The Ivy Leaguer. The last cigar is a shorty, 4×58 with the name Don’t let the size fool you.

More information on the locations of the Big Smoke will be announced Wednesday. Details about ticket sales will be announced then too. But two things are clear. Jonathan Drew is at the Dutch Big Smoke. And Omar de Frias is at the Dutch big Smoke.
