Norway is getting Principle Limited Edition. The Toro Especial has landed in the warehouse of Principle’s Norwegian distributor Augusto Cigars. And these Principle Gold Band cigars are rare and unique.

Gold Band

The Principle Gold Band series are made at Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic. The cigars are made when there is enough tobacco to release a few hundred cigars. And the blend changes per release. Principle uses rare tobaccos for the Gold Brand Series. And those rare tobaccos come in such low quantities that the blend changes with each release.

The only constant in the Gold Band Series is the ring, always a golden ring. And the size. All releases are a 6×50 Toro Especial. And the factory, Kelner Boutique Factory. The relationship with the Kelner family helps Principle Cigars owner Darren Chioffi to acquire such rare, limited tobaccos.

The Principle Gold Band series is available in several countries worldwide. But from this specific batch, all boxes have been sold to the United States and Norway only. There is limited stock so Norwegian cigar smokers should not hesitate and order quickly. Principle Cigars, Kelner Boutique Factory nor Nordic Cigars shared specifics of the blend for this particular batch.

Ministry of Cigars Norway is getting Principle Limited Edition

Kelner Boutique Factory is the factory of Hendrik Kelner Jr. He’s the son of the legendary tobacco grower and blender, Henke Kelner. Henke Kelner is most famous for his work for Davidoff Oettinger after their departure from Cuba. And while Henke Kelner has his own company, with the majority of the shares now owned by Davidoff, he never made cigars with his own name. He never took that step as his customers, for whom he makes cigars, might suspect he would keep the best tobacco for himself.

His son Hendrik Jr does have that freedom to use the family name on his factory and some of the cigars they produce. Although Kelner Boutique Factory produces private label cigars too for brands such as Casdagli Cigars, Principle, and Bugatti to mention a few.
