Los Dueños is returning to Belgium. The Dominican brand was available in Belgium for a while, until the distributor retired. But there’s a new distributor. The new distributor is not only distributing the brand on the Belgian market but also takes on Luxembourg and The Netherlands.
Los Dueños is created by Scander Chida. His passion for tobacco led to the creating of his brand. His motto for the cigars is “a fine product, a respected tradition, and a premium offer”. Chida has been in the industry for over a decade as a factory representative in the Dominican Republic. He wanted to launch his own brand and create an example of excellence according to his own words.
The cigars are made with tobacco from the best plantations on the island and appeal to both novice smokers and experienced aficionados. The line is blended with both traditional and modern methods to create a cigar with finesse and strength. The hand rolled cigars are made from Dominican filler and binder with an H2000 Habano wrapper from Cuba. For the real cigar geeks here’s the complete blend exists from Seco AA, Olor Dominicana, Ligero AA Criollo 98 as filler. The binder is Capore Olor from the Dominican and an H2000 wrapper from Cuba.
The cigar will be available in a few vitolas. The 4½x42 Petit Corona, the 5½x42 Corona, the 5×50 Robusto, the 7×48 Churchill, the 6×52 Torpedo, and the 7×70 Cenacle. The cigars are made at the Intercigar Factory in Santiago.
The release is planned for the end of May. Scander Chida will be personally introducing the cigars in The Netherlands during the launching events. As of yet, the prices of the cigars for all three countries have not been revealed yet. Schida could also not disclose the name of the distributor yet but would do so when the time is right.
