London has a new tobacconist. The new retail shop of C.Gars Ltd is the flagship store of the company and smack in the middle of the epicenter of the London cigar scene. The shop is in between the Davidoff shop and JJ Fox on St. James’s Street. On number 23a, in the iconic Economist building.
The new flagship store is open, yet only for cash and carry transactions at the moment due to the current lockdown in Great Britain. The earlier lockdown caused the opening of the shop to be delayed. The pandemic also caused delays in the supplies for the building contractors.
When the lockdown is over, cigar and whisky enthusiasts will be able to enjoy drinks by the dram as well as signature cocktails. Similarly, cigar sampling will be permitted post lockdown. And the flagship store will carry enough rare and vintage cigars to sample. From the illusive Cubatabaco 1492 to the Davidoff Dom Perignon. Pair them with the rarest single malt whiskies from the large whisky library and enjoy.
Other retail locations
Although this is the first location carrying the C.Gars Ltd name, it is not the first retail location for the company. C.Gars Ltd operates two La Casa del Habano stores, one in Chester and one in Knutsford. And four locations under the Turmeaus name. In London, Norfolk, Chester, and Liverpool. And the online presence of C.Gars Ltd is big, they are probably the largest online tobacco retailer in the United Kingdom. The company is also known for the annual auction of rare and vintage cigars and the Orchant Seleccion cigars. The Orchant Seleccion cigars are carefully selected boxes or blends by managing director Mitchell Orchant.
