La Sagrada Familia now available in Malaysia. The Dutch cigar brand teamed up with distributor and retailer Cigar Malaysia. The cigars will soon be introduced at the Cigar Malaysia retail locations and at their partner lounges. Both La Sagrada Familia blends will be available.

La Sagrada Familia Cigars

The LSF cigars are the brainchild of Dutch entrepreneur Tom Mulder. Mulder is an avid cigar smoker. At first, he smoked Cuban cigars but when he was introduced to Nicaraguan tobacco he realized that the quality was much higher. So when he decided to launch his own brand, Nicaragua was the country to explore. Mulder eventually settled on Joya de Nicaragua as his producer.

Currently, there are two blends available. The La Sagrada Familia Habano and the follow-up La Sagrada Familia Maduro. The cigars are for sale in a few European countries, and Mulder is slowly increasing the reach of La Sagrada Familia. Last year he was on vacation in Malaysia and Singapore with his family. In Kuala Lumpur he visited a few cigar lounges, just to relax and shared some of his own cigars as well. And the cigars were received so well that Cigar Malaysia reached out to Mulder with the request to be his distributor for the South East Asian country.

Cigar Malaysia

Malaysia is a vibrant cigar market. And a lot of the development on the market is because of Cigar Malaysia. They started selling new world cigars from an apartment in Kuala Lumpur and making cigars available for reasonable prices. That venture led to four retail outlets and partnerships with several lounges in the area in and around Kuala Lumpur. The partnerships include The Duke, Humidor Malaysia, and Cigar Bar KL. Jay Walia, owner of Cigar Bar KL did a review of the La Sagrada Familia for his YouTube channel.
