La Flor Dominicana is changing packaging on the Carajos line. The 4×34 cigars are famous for their unique packaging. Wooden packages of five cigars. But those days are over. There are no more wooden boxes left at La Flor Dominicana. The new packaging is metal. Metal tins with an updated look and feel.
Instead of the bare wooden packaging with the LFD logo, the new tins are colorful. A deep red, almost burgundy, base color. With details and the La Flor Dominicana logo in a gold print on top. That same color scheme continues on the new rings as well. The contents change too. Where the wooden packaging contains 5 cigars, the tin holds six of these small yet powerful cigars.
Currently, the 4×34 Carajos cigars are available in three blends. All three blends use Dominican tobacco as binder and filler. The difference is the wrapper. The Carajos Natural utilizes an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The Carajos Oscuro uses Ecuadorian Sumatra as a wrapper as well. But a darkened version. The La Flor Dominicana Carajos Maduro is made with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. And now that La Flor Dominicana is changing packaging, all three lines come in metal tins.
