La Estrella Polar coming to Europe. The cigar is being rolled out in Europe as we speak. And it’s available in select Asian markets as well.

In the USA we know General Cigars brand La Estrella Cubana. Due to the Cuban trade embargo any Cuban denominations on cigars are not allowed outside USA.

La Estrella Polar, which translated to The Polar Star, has been developed for the international markets outside USA.

La Estrella Polar was introduced in Malaysia and Slovenia in the last few months. The name translates to The Polar Star. And now, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France, and Macau are on the roster. The cigar is blended with tobaccos from four different countries. The Scandinavian Tobacco Group blenders picked an Ecuadorian wrapper from the 2015 crop. Then they selected an Indonesian binder from the 2013 harvest. And they wrapped those leaves around filler tobaccos from Colombia and Nicaragua.

Scandinavian Tobacco Group responded to our questions about the sizes available. There will be two. A 5×50 Robusto and a 6×60 Gigante. So watch out because La Estrella Polar is coming for Europe.
