La Aurora Zeppelin is coming to Europe. Last year, the oldest Dominican cigar brand released a 4×58 figurado on the Chinese market. The shape is best described as La Aurora’s take on Drew Estate’s Flying Pig.

La Aurora introduced the 107 line in 2010 when the company existed 107 years. The blend is made from Brazilian, Nicaraguan and Peruvian filler. The binder is Dominican and the wrapper comes from Ecuador. It’s not a Connecticut Shade wrapper though, but a Sumatra wrapper, another famous tobacco grown in Ecuador.

The cigars will be available in select European markets, starting this summer. Last December, ten boxes showed up at the famous Mellgren’s tobacco shop in Göteborg, Sweden. Those ten boxes were gone in a heartbeat, but it means that the cigars aren’t completely new to Europe.
