Jas Sum Kral is releasing another Swedish exclusive. Riste Riatevski and Karl Martin Brix Nelson from Kind Cigars have been working on this special project names Sota Kakor since 2017. And before you think that Sota Kakor is another Macedonian name for a new Jas Sum Kral release, hold your horses. It’s Swedish for Sweet Cookies.
It’s not the first Jas Sum Kral that is made exclusively for Sweden. The company and their distributor in Sweden, Kind Cigars, collaborated earlier with the Swedish exclusive Jas Sum Kral Toothpick Barberpole. That cigar became so highly demanded in the United States that rumors say the cigar will be released globally next year. Riatevski didn’t confirm or deny that rumor when asked.
Not much information about the Sota Kakor has been released by Jas Sum Kral. Only that the cigars will come in boxes of 12. And that they are made with a higher priming Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The binder is a Criollo 98. For the filler, the duo acquired tobacco from four different regions from Nicaragua. What the total production is, the size and what the MSRP is, has not been disclosed.
In an additional e-mail, Riatevski mentioned that the ring contains traditional elements from the Dalarna region of Sweden.
