Episode 26: The Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show. An episode with all things Cuban. A Cuban cigar, and three Cuban rums. All in the week that American President Donald Trump outlawed the import of Cuban cigars and rum again. After 6 years, these products are off-limits for Americans again. But not for Philip, Ferdy, producer IZ, and special guest Brandon Khoo, Havana Club Brand Ambassador. Our friend Simon, who co-hosted episode 4 last year, joins us for the pairing as well.
The cigar that the team smoked is a Montecristo Double Edmundo. A cigar that was leftover from our visit to Cohiba Atmosphere Kuala Lumpur. During that episode, episode 16, we smoked a Cohiba Robusto. But we walked out of the Cohiba Atmosphere with another cigar for another show. This was the Montecristo Double Edmundo of this episode. Havana Club Brand Ambassador Brandon Khoo brought the Havana Club 7, Havana Club Seleccion de Maestros, and as the grand finale the Havana Club Union, Cohiba Atmosphere edition. Without further ado, enjoy the show. And join in for the next episode in two weeks, where we pair cigars with red wines.
The Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show is aired on the Ministry of Cigars Facebook page every other Friday at 3 PM SGT, or UTC +8. But the videos are available to see after that as well. The show is hosted by Philip Phajan and Ferdinand Piet. Production is done by Iz Rush. Guest appearing on the Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show regularly, either in person or on Zoom. In the next episode, Brendon Khoo, brand ambassador for Havana Club will join us. Watch him at The Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show in two weeks.
