Drew Estate Year of the Rat Collection. Last year, Drew Estate released Year of the Pig sampler for its Chinese distributor. The sampler contained several Flying Pigs, a fitting vitola and name for the Year of the Pig. But even though the cigars were regular production, the packaging wasn’t. The cigars came in a beautiful red sampler box and were wrapped in red paper.

The Year of the Pig Sampler by Drew Estate contained seven Flying Pigs. Those were the Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig, the Liga Privada No.9 Flying Pig, and the Liga Privada T52 Flying Pig. The sampler also contained the Undercrown Maduro, Undercrown Sun Grown, and the Undercrown Shade Flying Pig. To top the sampler off, Drew Estate added the Kentucky Fire Cured Flying Pig.

Year of the Rat

It happens that 2020 is the Year of the Rat. And Drew Estate has been using the Rat in their names and marketing for the longest time. Ratzilla, Dirty Rat, Velvet Rat, Year of the Rat are names that every Drew Estate fan knows. So that calls for another sampler. Drew Estate leaked a photo on the internet with the new sampler. It’s a sampler with only Liga Privada cigars this time. The color of the sampler is blue and gold. A fresh new blue logo and the cigars come wrapped in blue paper.

The sampler contains two Liga Privada T52 Flying Pigs, two Liga Privada No.9 Flying Pigs, two Nasty Fritas, a Velvet Rat, and a Ratzilla. This release is separate from the rerelease of the Liga Privada Year of the Rat cigar. It is to be expected that this sampler will only be available in South East Asia.
