Davidoff releases Limited Winston Churchill Toro. Next month the Swiss Oettinger Davidoff kicks off the year with not just a limited edition Winston Churchill Toro. But with limited-edition Winston Churchill accessories as well. The accessory set consists of an ashtray and a double yet lighter.

 Limited Edition Toro

The blenders at Davidoff in the Dominican Republic went out to create a cigar that compliments the British statesman. Just like Winston Churchill, the cigar is complex and balanced. According to Davidoff, the cigar is the perfect combination between the Winston Churchill Original Collection and the Winston Churchill The Late Hour. It has the creaminess and sweetness of the first, and the earthiness and nuttiness from the latter.

The cigar measures 6×52 and it comes with an Ecuadorian wrapper. The binder Is a Dominican hybrid with the name Hybrid 257. The filler consists of viso from Esteli, Nicaragua, and four different tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. Only 11.000 boxes of 10 cigars are available through Davidoff flagship stores, Davidoff appointed retailers and duty-free outlets.

 Accessories

Along with the limited edition cigars, Davidoff is revealing a set of limited edition accessories. These are in line with this year’s theme of the limited edition. That theme is Sir Winston Churchill’s role as a commander. The stylish dark grey colored accessory set consists of an ashtray and a double jet flame table lighter. They both carry the limited edition chessboard design theme. A Winston Churchill silhouette discretely adorns both items. Oettinger Davidoff did not reveal how limited the accessory set is, except that it’s available only in very limited quantities. The numbering on the bottom of the lighter however says 600 pieces.

“Sir Winston Churchill was an exceptional man whose personality had so very many facets of brilliant talents. From statesman to commander, from author to painter. A unique character of its time. Usually, these personalities transform into mere history book figures, but not Sir Winston Churchill. Today he still is one of the most renowned and appraised public figures of the 20th century,” says Edward Simon, CMO at Oettinger Davidoff AG. “At Davidoff, we are humbled and excited to bringing to life the many dimensions and stories of this incredible leader, artist, and writer while Sir Winston keeps carrying such deep inspiration to the world of today.”
