Davidoff celebrates the holidays with cigars and accessories. The Switzerland based company is releasing the Davidoff Royal, a new set of Davidoff Oro Blanco and a series of new accessories. Those include a Davidoff Masterpiece humidor, a revolutionary travel humidor, lighters, cutters, and cases. On top of that, Davidoff created three ‘selection’ sample boxes, a perfect holiday gift.
Davidoff Oro Blanco
This cigar is the rarest Davidoff cigar ever made. Master blender Eladio Diaz is in total control over the production, and the cigars are only released when he deems them ready. The cigars were released before with some of the oldest tobacco that Davidoff had in their tobacco library. Extraordinary tobacco from 2000 and 2001, and then aged again after rolling. The cigars are then wrapped in cellophane, put in individual coffins and boxed. A box of the Davidoff Oro Blanco aka white gold contains 10 cigars. The previous batch, which was released in 2014, became known as the $500 Davidoff, as that was the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Davidoff did not disclose how many boxes are being released this year.
Another release for the holiday is the Davidoff Royal Release. The cigars are made with tobacco that has all been harvested a minimum of ten years ago. Every year around the holidays, Davidoff is releasing this blend in two sizes. Those are a 5½x55 Robusto and an 8¼x57 Salomones. The cigars are made with five different filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. The binder comes from Ecuador. And the wrapper is an Aromatica Dominicana from the Dominican Republic.
Davidoff also releases a few samplers for the holidays. Those include a ’white tubos’ sampler and a ‘black tubos’ sampler. And three ‘selection’ samplers. One filled with a selection of Davidoff robusto cigars. Another filled with figurado shaped cigars. And the best of Davidoff, a vertical sampler from several Davidoff lines in several sizes.
Davidoff also comes with a Davidoff Masterpiece Royal Release humidor. There are only five of these unique humidors made. Davidoff teamed up with French artist Émilie Moutard-Martin for the creation of this very limited edition beauty.
Another humidor is the revolutionary travel humidor, which is completely different than any other travel humidor in the world. It’s unique in looks, and in how it works.
Davidoff also presents a new series of lighters,
But the coolest gadget according to Ministry of Cigars is the whiskey glass. On the bottom, it shows the silhouette of Winston Churchill. The rim of the glass isn’t straight though but curved on two spots opposite each other. That way, you can use your glass as a cigar rest.
