Bobby and Drew Newman at Dutch Big Smoke. Well, not both days. But the duo will be at the Sunday part of the two-day cigar event. Due to other engagements, Bobby and his nephew Drew won’t be able to make it on Saturday the 14th of September. That’s the day when the Big Smoke is held at Cigaragua. And most likely in Arnhem at Lensen Tabak but that last location has to be confirmed.
For the Sunday legs, their attendance is confirmed. That goes both for Alblasserdam and Rotterdam. There won’t be a new cigar released at the Big Smoke. Participants of the Dutch Big Smoke will get an event only Brick House that cannot be bought anywhere else.
J.C. Newman is the oldest, still remaining, cigar factory in the United States. The factory has been around for 124 years. And it’s stil a family business, with the fourth generation slowly taking over. Drew Newman is the reason why the company is currently renovating the El Reloj factory in Tampa. And make it available for factory visits. Recently, Ministry of Cigars interviewed Bobby Newman in Singapore. The interview can be found here.
