Balmoral Añejo XO
Royal Agio is the creator of the Balmoral Añejo XO cigars. The company has been making cigars since 1904 and is still a family owned business. The company is now run by Boris Wintermans, who’s great grandfather Jacques started the company in 115 years ago. In the last few years, Royal Agio has been focusing more on the premium handmade cigar instead of the machine made that made them famous. And not without success. The Balmoral Añejo series have been scoring high ratings in both printed and online media. Ministry of Cigars reviewed and rated the Balmoral Añejo XO Gran Toro, Balmoral Añejo XO Connecticut Rothschild Masivo, and the Balmoral Dueto Robusto. The last one is a collaboration with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.
Cigars of Habanos currently has the regular Balmoral Añejo XO series in their portfolio. As well as the panatela of the Balmoral Dominican Selection, a machine made short filler with Dominican tobacco. The sizes of the Balmoral Añejo sold big Cigars of Habanos are Gordito, Gran Perfecto FT (limited edition), Petit Robusto, Rothschild Masivo and the Torpedo MK52. There is also a sampler with several sizes available. If the other Balmoral Añejo lines, the Connecticut and Oscuro, will be available in the future has not been announced yet.
