Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro ready for a worldwide release. The acclaimed Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon is the world’s only cigar with has 6 sides. And from the day it was released, it is a big success. Now there is a line extension. The same size and shape but with a ten-year-aged Colorado Claro wrapper.
About four years ago, Plasencia cigars came out with the Alma Fuerte line. And the eye-catcher of the release was the Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon. A 6×60 Gordo pressed as a hexagon. With a deeply rooted love of agriculture and respect for the natural world, the Plasencia’s applied biomimicry when creating this cigar. The unique shape imitates the honeycomb, borrowing from nature, this shape allows to fit the most area with the least perimeter. This shape provides a more complex smoking expression due to the pressing of the cigar into a hexagon shape. The new shape brought forth a new way to enjoy cigars.
Plasencia Cigars is a leader when it comes to oddly pressed cigars anyway. The Casa Magna Domus Magnus II line has a few uniquely pressed cigars as well. For one of them, the shape of a Bic lighter was the inspiration. And these cigars come from the Plasencia factory as well.
The hexagon shape is Plasencia’s number one selling cigar. The Plasencia family felt it was time create a line extension to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Hexagon. This result is the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon- Colorado Claro.
What sets this blend apart from its predecessor is a slight tweaking of the binder and filler. Aside from incredibly unique wrapper. The Colorado Claro wrapper which comes from the vast Plasencia tobacco library was aged for 10 years. That results in a smoother smoking experience.
Plasencia Cigars CEO Nestor Andres Plasencia states: “When we created the hexagon-shaped vitola, we did it with the intent to push the boundaries of cigar making. The Colorado Claro wrapper adds a different dimension to this already unique cigar. We proudly look forward to exposing the public to the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Sixto I Hexagon.”
Several European Plasencia importers and distributors already gave Ministry of Cigars confirmation that the cigars are landing in their warehouses soon.
