Alec Bradley creates a Fine & Rare boxset. This boxset, called Fine & Rare Greatest Hits, contains a selection of old fine & rare releases. The Fine & Rare Greatest Hits boxset is created to commemorate the 10th birthday of the Fine & Rare project.
Alec Bradley created the fine & Rare in 2010, although the cigars didn’t hit the market until the next year. It became an annual limited-edition. The most anticipated and prestigious cigar from the American company. The uniqueness comes from the fact that year after year, the cigar is made with 10 different tobaccos. The packaging is always top-notch. With all information on the rollers, the week it was rolled in and more on the ring. Ministry of Cigars reviewed the Alec Bradley Fine & Rare RS10=(86) from 2018.
Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley said “I’m really excited to be able to present the Fine & Rare 10 Year Anniversary set,” Rubin said. “I went through all of the different iterations. I chose the vintages that had the best overall flavor development and performance.” But he didn’t re-create the cigars. When Rubin started the project, he made sure to keep enough of the original release cigars in storage. So the cigars in the Fine & Rare Greatest Hits boxset are original release cigars.
The boxset will contain 5 cigars from 5 releases, making it a box of 25 cigars. The cigars come from 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 releases. 2014 is the year of the 7×54 TA25A. 2016 is a 6×52 Toro names HJ10-1. BR12-13 is a 6×52 Torpedo from 2017. The JRS10=(86) is a 6½x52 Toro from 2018. Last year, the 6¼x54 box-pressed toro was dedicated to Alan Rubin’s father. He passed away and the HOF/506 is a tribute to him.
The Fine & Rare Greatest Hits boxset is limited to 500 boxes worldwide. The release date is yet to be confirmed. All the cigars are made at Raices Cubanas in Honduras. All with a different blend using 10 tobaccos.
